Accessibility
BPP College is committed to making the information and resources that it provides via the web accessible to all users.
This central site for BPP College is intended to meet at least level 2 (AA) of the W3C's Website Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Guidelines. For more information about the WAI Guidelines see: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0.
We aim to comply with our obligations to all users by providing a website of a usability and design, which should help all visitors to this website.
Through taking this approach we hope to make our site as inclusive as possible, and also to comply with UK legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) as amended, which states that it is an offence to discriminate against a disabled person by treating him or her less favourably than others for a reason relating to their disability.
Discrimination can also occur where an institution fails to make a 'reasonable adjustment' where the disabled person is placed at a 'substantial disadvantage' in comparison with someone who is not disabled and such failure cannot be 'justified'. Similarly the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Code of Practice for students with disabilities states that Universities should consider disabled students in every aspect of planning and administration of academic and social activities.
We intend to continue improving our accessibility, so if you have any difficulty accessing this site and require further help, or if you have any suggestions to help improve our accessibility, please contact us.
