International orientation
To help you adjust to life at BPP and in the UK we offer all new international students the opportunity to attend the International Students' Orientation Week in London prior to commencing your programme.
During this week you will meet other new students, members of the International Students’ Office and other BPP staff. It is also a great way to find out about:
- BPP Business and Law Schools
- our teaching methods
- things to do and see in London and the UK
- living in London and the UK
- working in the UK
- visas
- health and safety
- what to buy and where to buy it
- the law in the UK
- activities and social events
The orientation will take place during the first week of the first semester of our masters programmes. Further details and the schedule for the International Students' Orientation Week will be provided in due course.
British Council pre-departure meetings
The British Council arranges pre-departure meetings for international students who have been offered a place with a British college. Please contact us or the British Council via their website in your home country for details of the events.
Airport pick-up service
We offer an airport pick-up service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports to London. This service is offered free of charge to all new international students studying one of our masters programmes at BPP in London.
Further details and the schedule for the airport pick-up service will be available online in due course.
Alternatively, if you would like us to arrange a taxi to collect you directly from the airport, please contact the International Students’ Office (please note that students are responsible for the full cost of the taxi and we require at least three days notice to book a taxi).
Clubs and societies
Joining a student society or sports club is a good way to make friends and have some fun. Every year, BPP Business and Law School students form a wide range of clubs and societies that we support. To find out more please visit the relevant sections on the Business School and Law School websites.
Language requirements
You should check what the minimum English language requirements are for your programme before applying. Our International Students’ Office are happy to provide you with further information should you wish to improve your English skills either prior to joining or during your programme.
