Admissions and Student Recruitment Officers (6 positions - 11 month Fixed Term contracts)
BPP College comprises BPP Law School and BPP Business School. BPP’s mission is to offer our students the highest standard of professional education and training available. This incorporates their full experience of BPP, from sighting of marketing materials and first enquiry, through to graduation and alumni services.
Job Purpose: To promote BPP through the provision of high quality detailed information and customer service to enable individuals to make an informed choice of education provider and maximise student recruitment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
You will play an integral role in key recruitment activities undertaken by BPP College by participating in the delivery of the admissions services including:
- Playing an active role in the Admissions Enquiry Service of BPP responding via telephone, in writing, via e-mail and in person to potential applicants and their advisors or sponsors and promoting relevant products, facilities and services
- Communicating up-to-date, accurate and relevant information regarding BPP, its programmes and related information
- Communicating with applicants, their parents, sponsors and originating schools, colleges or other institutions over the status of application, as appropriate
- Monitoring requests for literature and following up on leads generated
- Creating and maintaining manual and computer records for each application and enquiry
- Actively adhering to and promoting the highest levels of customer service standards throughout the process from initial enquiry to student enrolment
- Ensuring lapses of customer service standards are appropriately reported in order to minimise their impact
- Promoting recruitment events to potential students ensuring maximum attendance and high rates of conversion to enrolment
- Assessing the eligibility of applicants for admission to a variety of Law School and Business School programmes, referring these applicants to relevant staff where appropriate
- Liaising closely with Programme Leaders and recruitment staff in the Schools to ensure smooth and speedy admissions decisions on applicants
- Assisting with activities necessary to support the promotion of the programme and meet recruitment targets for each programme
- Generating and dispatching offer and rejection letters (with Customer Service Standard turn around times) for all offered and deferral students and record responses to the offer letters
- Processing acceptances, rejections (detailing reasons) and fee deposits
- Dealing professionally and sensitively with rejections, appeals and funding queries
- Ensuring that all internal and external procedures and guidelines are closely adhered to
- Liaising closely with registry in respect of publicity response, enrolment figures and possible lead chasing
- Developing and maintaining an up to date knowledge of all of BPP’s programmes
- Developing and maintaining an overall awareness of BPP’s key competitors and the market in which BPP operates
- Supporting the Admissions Team by undertaking other ad hoc duties as and when required
You will work closely with the Marketing Team to assist in the implementation of pre and post application recruitment strategy including:
- Maintaining contact with applicants who defer their place, to ensure their return in the next academic year
- Ensuring successful return on investment monitoring is possible for the marketing department through diligent record keeping and data recording
- Disseminating marketing literature, e.g. mail shots, brochures, flyers etc
- Contacting applicants through phone and email to encourage acceptance and ensure high rates of conversion from application to acceptance
- Assisting with market research and competitor analysis, identifying monitoring the activities of key competitors
- Attendance at Careers and Information Events at all of BPP’s centres, promoting BPP and its programmes of study to applicants and potential applicants
- Participating in student recruitment events at universities, relevant industry fairs and other relevant events
- Recognising trends and patterns in applications and enquiries and communication these to Admissions and Marketing Managers
- Supporting the Admissions Team by undertaking other ad hoc duties as and when required

Education & Experience
You must:
- Be of graduate calibre and have a minimum 1 years experience in a customer services or sales environment
- Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
- Experience of CRM databases advantageous
