Graham Pitcher

Dean, Business School

Graham joined BPP Business School in September 2004 and in June 2005 was appointed Dean of the Business School. Graham leads the Business School team in developing and delivering academic and professional programmes. His research interests range from education in the professions to more strategic business issues such as the strategic management of change.

Prior to joining the Business School, Graham worked in the Accountancy & Tax division of BPP, which he joined in January 1995. Graham held a number of positions whilst with this division including serving as a Director of BPP Business Education.

Prior to joining BPP, Graham worked in a variety of industries as an accountant and has over 17 years practical experience, including 5 years at a senior level. As well as being a qualified accountant and a member of the Chartered Management Institute, Graham holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification and is also a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). With interests in education and being an insatiable student Graham has gained a MA Ed (Open) and MEd (e-learning) and is currently following a course of study with Bath University leading to the award of a DBA in Higher Education Management. 

During his work as an educator Graham has worked extensively with several professional bodies in a variety of roles, from syllabus developer, marker and question writer, as well as working with other Higher Education Institutions.
