BPP appoints Professor Chris Brady as Dean of BPP Business School

BPP College of Professional Studies today announces the appointment of Professor Chris Brady as the new Dean of BPP Business School.
Professor Brady, who will start at BPP Business School in December 2008, joins from Bournemouth University where he is Dean and Professor of Management Studies at the Business School. Previously, he was Associate Dean and Professor ofCass Business School.
Professor Brady said: “BPP Business School is in a unique position in professional business education in the UK. There are not many times in your career when you get the chance to redefine the accepted notion of scholarship. With aSchool that has only recently attained degree-awarding powers this is that chance. I am pleased to be part of such anexciting time for BPP Business School.”

From 2009 BPP Business School will be offering masters degree programmes in the following subjects: Accounting, Business and Management, Finance, Human Resources and Marketing.

Professor Chris Brady BEd MSc PhD
Professor Chris Brady has had a varied and illustrious career. He served in the Royal Navy for 16 years and has authored books on subjects from US foreign policy, British Cabinet government and business. He has produced books on management issues including: The 90 Minute Manager, End of the Road and Rules of the Game. Prior to joining Bournemouth University Business School, Chris was Head of External Relations and Business Development and Associate Dean at Cass Business School.
Chris played semi-professional football and retains his interest in football by delivering the business module on the FA’s pro-licence management course and is a UEFA ‘A’ Licence Coach. He coached the national military football team and is a qualified coach in tennis, squash and trampolining. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
