Carl Lygo appointed as CEO of BPP

BPP Holdings, a leading provider of education and training to professionals in the legal, financial and business sectors, today announced the appointment of Carl Lygo as Chief Executive Officer.
Carl, a qualified and formerly practising Barrister with over 18 years’ experience in the education sector, has worked at BPP for the past 12 years, six of which as a plc board member. Prior to this appointment, Carl was the Chairman of BPP Law School and was instrumental in building the Law School from a turnover of £1 million to in excess of £50 million today, and led the team to make BPP College the first “for profit” owned degree awarding provider in the UK. Most recently, Carl has been behind the launch of BPP Business School which moved into its new £5m premises in the heart of the City of London this summer. Carl will continue in his role as Principal of BPP College (comprising both BPP Law School and BPP Business School) and will combine the role of Chief Executive Officer of BPP Holdings.
