BPP helps to revolutionise the workplace of the new decade
4 January 2010
In a shift away from the increasing number of Best Employer surveys that have dominated the UK’s workplace during the past ten years, BPP, the leading business and legal education provider, believes that the new decade will see businesses focusing on what makes the best employee.
Employers and companies will become more proactive in their approach to talent management, placing greater emphasis on skill development, and looking for returns on investment in training, according to the recent CBI report "The Shape of Business – the next 10 years".
To kick start the new decade, BPP is launching a number of programmes in business, finance and law that start in January, for anyone embarking on a career, changing career, looking to learn new skills, and for those who want to be recognised as an employee of choice.
Chris Brady, Dean of BPP Business School said:
“Training and up skilling in the workplace is changing dramatically, with the onus very much on the employee. We’re introducing courses that start in January, to give people more flexibility - some may have been unable to commit to a programme in September; others may have had a change in circumstances. Whatever the reason, it means that they don’t have to wait until the Autumn to study or boost their employability chances.”
