The International Students' Orientation programme is designed to welcome all new international students to BPP and will take place week commencing 25th Auguat 2008.

This is a great way to find out more about BPP, settle into life in the UK and meet other new and returning international students before your programme commences.

Our International Students' Orientation programme includes:

• information about studying at BPP and living in London and the UK
• a chance to meet and make friends with other international students and join student societies
• an opportunity to meet the BPP staff
• activities and social events

As part of the orientation programme, we will also be offering an airport collection service (see below). If you are flying into any airport other than Heathrow or Gatwick, please contact our International Student Office who will be happy to advise you on the easiest way to get to your accommodation.

Alternatively, if you would like us to arrange a taxi to collect you directly from the airport, please contact the International Student Office (please note that students are responsible for the full cost of the taxi. We will require at least 3 days notice to book a taxi).

Airport Pick-up Service

We are offering an airport pick-up service from Heathrow and Gatwick airports at specific times on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August 2008. This service is offered free of charge as part of your International Students' Orientation Programme.

Airport Meeting Points

The meeting point at each airport will be as follows:
Heathrow Terminal 3 - Official Meeting Point in the Arrivals Lounge
Gatwick South Terminal - Official Meeting Point in the Arrivals Lounge

Please note the following important information regarding our airport pick-up service:

• BPP staff will be at the meeting point from at least 1 hour before the coach departure time. The BPP staff will be wearing T-shirts with the BPP logo on and will also be holding signs
• coaches we use have limited luggage carrying capacity. You will only be allowed to take two pieces of luggage and one piece of hand luggage with you on the coach. We cannot guarantee that excess luggage will be carried, so you may have to send it to the College using the excess baggage facility available at the airport.

Unfortunately, if your flight is delayed it will not be possible for the coach to wait for you.

Clubs and Societies

Joining a student society or sports club is a good way to make friends and have some fun. Every year, BPP College students form a wide range of clubs and societies that BPP is keen to support.

Language Requirements

You should check to see if the programme you are applying for has any minimum English language requirements. Our International Students Office will be happy to provide you with further information on reputable language schools or courses should you wish to improve your English skills.
